Seven of us arrive into Bhutan today from Kathmandu and another 10 from Sydney including my husband who I have not seen for 6 weeks. After 3 very hot days in Chitwan we departed for our journey to Kathmandu. Although a long journey there is always something happening on this busy highway. Colourful Indian trucks pumping out black gasoline into the atmosphere. Children playing on the side of the road their parents obliviousy to the overpacked speeding buses. 4 DAY HIKE TO POKHARAWe returned from our 4 day home stay trek yesterday and it was such an amazing experience for everyone. After a 6 hour bus trip from Bhaktapur we arrived in Besisahar. We arrived Kathmandu by flight from Pokhara and today we have been sightseeing to Durbar Square, the ladies have been having a wonderful time buying pashminas and gifts to take home to their loved ones.
