Budapest to Amsterdam

This morning we departed the Emerald Sky and bid farewell to our fellow travellers. Amsterdam is best enjoyed on foot walking along countless canals. We visited the Rijksmuseum which has one of the worlds largest art collections, strolled through the beautiful tree lined streets with unusual specialty shops. Budapest to Amsterdam

Although our trip started with problems in the end it has been in our favour. After changing ships in Nuremberg our Evergreen ship and an APT ship are the only 2 ships cruising to Amsterdam, all other river boats are still stranded in Nuremberg. The dock accident has been to our advantage less river boats means less tourists in each [….]

Budapest to Amsterdam River Cruise

  Budapest is Eastern Budapest is Europe’s Eastern liveliest and most cosmopolitan city. Today we enjoyed an active guided hike to Buda Hill and Buda Castle, city sights which included the Hungarian Parliament House and the chain bridge linking Buda and Pest.
