In my last post I mentioned about the chance of not getting out of Lukla airport but today was my lucky day. I decided to return to Ktm 1 day before the group so that I could meet up with my next Nepal/Bhutan group who were flying in on the same day. We all finally connected around 5pm that afternoon. [….]

The past 3 weeks since my last blog has been amazing. I said goodbye to the ladies group and the next day headed once again to the airport to greet my next group of 13 well hardened hikers ready to tackle a 16 day trek to Gokyo Lakes. On Saturday we arrived by flight from Chitwan to Kathmandu, it was then a 30 minute vehicle ride to Bhaktapur and our accomodation for the night. Yesterday we arrived in Chitwan National Park from Pokhara it was a 4 hour drive the weather here is quite hot after the mountains. We had our first sighting of a Rhino and baby bathing in the river. We arrived in Kathmanud 8 days ago and went direct to Pokhara which is just about my second home, it was so nice t.
