Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek Nepal

Tsum Valley Nepal

After spending 2 fabulous nights at our guides home in the remote village of Darje. His family were so beautiful and made us feel so welcome.

The next day we began our trek to Manaslu and Tsum Valley. The day started early leaving Machakhola around 730am. We walked a steady climb to our next destination crossing several expansion bridges including a rustic bridge following the river. We came across approximately 10 Donkey Trains, including giving way to them on the suspension bridge.

Amazing scenery in warm humid condition. Great lunch, friendly locals and meeting Buddhist monks from Tsum Valley to Kathmandu. The trek took us through villages and allowed us to glimpse people just living their lives. Goats, chickens, gardens abound. People chopping wood, splitting stones and carrying heavy loads, working in the traditional way with few modern tools or luxuries.

The scenery shown in these pictures are stunning
