NEPAL WOMENS TREK OCTOBER 2011

On the 16th October a group of 12 adventurous women joined me on another wonderful tour to Nepal. On meeting the group at Kathmandu airport we then too a scenic flight to Pokhara which is situated on Phewa Lake with the magnificent Annapurna Ranges in the background. We set off on a 6 day trek to Ghorepani where we were assisted by 9 wonderful Nepalese boys who helped make the trek a very memorable experience. Even after carrying our bags all day they managed to find the energy to entertain us in the evening with Nepalese cultural songs and dancing. The weather was perfect we were surrounded every day by the magnficent Annapurna rangs. Following the trek we then travelled to Chitwan national Park. and managed on our first day to see rhino, deer, wild boar, elephants, crocodiles and many species of birdlife. Tomorrow we fly to Kathmandu where will spend 1 night each in Bhaktapur and Kathmandu. Thanks girls for being such a fantastic group it was one of my most memorable trips to Nepal. I am sure that you enjoyed each others company just as much as I enjoyed yours. I hope to see you on another adventure in the near future. Photos will be up on my Facebook page soon.
