The Kimberley is one of the world’s most precious wildernesses. It’s home to some of Australia’s most stunning landscapes, including one of its most iconic destinations – Broome. Loved for its magenta sunsets, shimmering turquoise water, and beautiful white beaches. Here, you will find the best of both worlds, the outback, and the beach.

The 15- day 4WD adventure tour explores the popular Kimberley trail from Western Australia’s Darwin through to Broome. You will begin with a leisurely cruise up the Nitmiluk Gorge. After that, you will enjoy traveling in comfort and style in custom-built vehicles and accommodation choices on all extended itineraries.

The Gibb River Road or “the Gibb”, as locals call it, is a 4WD-only track stretching 660km. Firstly you’ll enjoy a taste of the Kimberley Coast in the Buccaneer Archipelago. Then you will go on to explore El Questro Wilderness Park, Lake Argyle, and the World Heritage-listed Bungle Bungles. Along the way, you experience the land of the saltwater people and ancient Aboriginal rock art. At every stage on your journey, you will appreciate our experienced guides’ local expertise and passion for the region.

Difficulty: This trip requires a moderate fitness level. It will include some short treks to reach pristine waterfalls and stunning views. For more general information on what to expect, visit our  Adventure Travel FAQ.

Did you know: Broome’s Pearl Harvesting is responsible for placing the small outback area firmly on the map. While here, why not take a day trip to visit Willie Creek Pearl Farm and try your luck!
