Everest Lodge Trek

Join us for a life-changing adventure to Nepal on this “Trek for Purpose” Everest Lodge Tour. With eight of the world’s ten highest peaks, Nepal is loaded with spectacular mountain vistas. The Everest trek is justifiably famous. Not only for its proximity to the world’s highest mountain but also for its friendly Sherpa people, picturesque villages, great variety of cultures and traditions, colourful festivals and monasteries.

On this tour, you will spend 9 full days trekking in the Sagarmatha National Park. Rich with flora and fauna, you will hike your way across a landscape of glacially carved valleys and spectacular mountains. Your journey will be physically demanding, emotionally challenging and scenically spectacular.

This adventure is not just a holiday. You and your group will commit to trek with purpose Lyn Taylor’s Adventure Travel will donate a portion of your payment for the trip to support Tara Ghale’s Goat Farm project.  This will support the growth and ongoing cost of the family Goat Farm. Before the COVID-19 Crisis, the Ghale’s primary source of income was directly linked to international tourism. Many of the men in the family have worked with me as mountain trekking guides. And the family home has been a much-loved homestay for many of my adventure travel groups.

This Goat Farm is all part of a new beginning for the Ghale family. Even when the mountain trails reopen and people start trekking again, the Goat Farm will continue to provide income and food for members of Ghale’s community. It will provide them with a regular and sustainable source of income, meaningful employment, and job security. Not only that, it will also provide food for the local community and well beyond the community.
