BLUE MOUNTAINS WEEKEND SYDNEY

Twelve adventurous women together on a social weekend in Sydney’s Blue Mountains will no doubt be a fun but somewhat  crazy weekend. The temperature is 10 during the day and 0 at night so we are all prepared for the cold, and thankfully we all decided not to camp, but to stay at the Jemby-Rinkah Lodge situated in the Blue Mountains National Park an area of  World Heritage . Our Eco Lodge has 5 bedrooms and an excellent common room, good food and wine will be an integral part of our weekend as we will be treated on Saturday night to a full Christmas in July festive dinner, of which we will deserve after hiking from  from Perry’s Lookdown into the famous Blue Gum Forest.  After some steady climbing, the walk passes the base of the magnificent Bridal Falls and climbs steeply to Govetts Leap Lookout. This walk will test our  knees and fitness, but we are all strong after having  trekked the Himalayas so this will be a peice of cake.
I will keep you updated with pics and report on our weekend starting tomorrow 20th July
