VILLAGE SCHOOL VISIT NEPAL

Since my last blog when the ladies group departed for home I have traveling in Nepal visiting the School Project in Majuwa village, exploring a new trek route in the Annapurna’s, and enjoying my last 2 days in Nepal relaxing at the Yak and Yeti hotel in Kathmand.

I have attached some wonderful photos of my visit to the school and very pleased with the progress they have made with plastering the inside and outside of the school. All that is now required is the painting of the building and we plan to do this on my next visit in October with some of my clients who have volunteered to visit the school after their Tibet Overland Tour. Whilst at the village I visited another school that is also in need of assistance with regards to building more classrooms, so in 2012 we will plan another volunteer project, thanks to Lindfield East Public School. In Pokhara and Kathmandu I purchased many fabulous handy craft items that the children at LEPS will sell at a profit, this money will be returned to Nepal in October to assist with further school projects. I hope you enjoy the photos.
