POST FROM BHUTAN

Big day today. Walked up and down hills and across farming land. Avoided cattle herders and watched manual wheat thrashing. A long walk of over 3 hours off the tourist trail. Enjoyed picking and eating fresh guava from the tree. Very tasty. Chinese goosberries a little bitter for me. Crossed the suspension bridge. Watched the Bhutan form of darts. A bit scary! Picnic lunch by the river, visited the restored Punakha Dzone (Bhuddist Tempe).  Stunning artistic workmanship. Another nights rest and then off the the Black Crane festival Gantey. Enjoying marvelous time and getting fit – Shaunna
